I have designed an adorable little plush owl that will be lovingly made by a gal with a line of gorgeous natural toys (I love how she brought my design on paper to life in the pic above!), and you will soon be seeing many, many items from her line at Tiny Owl too (official announcement coming soon)! The Sleepy Little Owl will is made of super soft and squishy organic bamboo velour hand-dyed in different colorways for you to choose, and the eyes and beak are hand embroidered, sort of Waldorf -inspired.
I have the option to get the owl filled with wool or poly-fil. Wool is of course natural, and it comes from a farm near where the toys are made, the first certified humane sheep farm in the US. She cleans and cards it herself. The wool would make the owl hand wash only. The poly-fil is of course 100% polyester and not natural, though it would be vegan as well as make the owl machine washable. I am not opposed to carrying both as options for my customers to choose (there is a $1.50 price difference in the finished owl), but I would like to know which you would prefer!
Simply fill out the rafflecopter form below to enter the giveaway to win the Sleepy Little Owl of your choice! The only mandatory entry is letting me know if you prefer wool or poly-fil, but there are a few other options that will give you additional entries, so you have the ability to earn three more entries beyond the mandatory one!

Thanks for the wonderful giveaways this week :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway
ReplyDeleteSo cute, we love owls. I prefer poly fil, as much as I LOVE wool and all it stands for, because wool is so hard to wash and gets compacted so quickly. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love wool and natural fabrics. very cute!

Cute owl! :)
ReplyDeleteWould pick poly-fil because with lil' ones I'm sure It would have to get washed multiple times & not sure I wanna deal with handwashing a wool one (though that's a GREAT option!)
I would pick wool to keep it natural! :)
ReplyDeleteAwesomesauce Thanks for the chance!! Soooo Cute!!
ReplyDeleteThat owl is adorable! :) Lori Davis.
ReplyDeleteCute giveaway! I picked wool because natural fabrics make me smile.
ReplyDeleteI love this adorable owl! I have a lot of owl toys for my daughter and I call her my little night owl since she won't go to bed until midnight. I chose wool to keep it organic!
ReplyDeleteAwww, that's so sweet! :) I was going to call him the Tiny Night Owl, but then I thought about the fact that night owls stay awake! lol
DeleteThank you all so much for you kind words and your thoughts on wool versus polyfil--I appreciate it so very much! :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable. I love that it comes in wool!
ReplyDeleteWool because it is more natural!

I think that polifil is better, it keeps its "fluffiness" with every laundry (I like to wash very often the stuff animals. OCD? Maybe...)
ReplyDeleteI would go with Poly-fil so that you can wash it! Very cute little owl!
ReplyDeleteI prefer wool because polyester tends to be irritating to my son's skin.
